On November, 21st 2021, the 6th Neuroscience Symposium took place. Due to the Corona pandemic, the symposium was held digitally via Zoom for the first time.

Sebastian Lammers

Institution: Social Cognition Group, Research Center Jülich

"I use behavioral and neuroimaging methods to learn about the intersection of nonverbal behavior, whole-body movements and time perception."

Dr. Julia Kirchhoff

Institution: Miltenyi Biotec

"My main Task as a product owner is the management of CAP projects. This means taking care of timelines, costumer communication and team resources."

Sarah Salamon

Institution: Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology, Institute of Pharmacology, University of Cologne

"Our group investigates the physiological and pathophysiological role of voltage-gated calcium channels,wherein I focus on a specific channel type with unique properties, what is required for heartbeat, neurotransmission, and auditory transduction."

Iris Bomilcar

Institution: PROSPAM, Institute of Psychiatry, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro

"My research consists of exploring self-awareness using perspective-taking methods and theoretical formulations about selfhood and identity in people with Alzheimer Disease. I am also deeply interested and working in cognitive stimulation therapies for people with dementia."
