Neuroscience symposium
What is it?
Registration for 2026 is open, click here for more information and register!
The Neuroscience Student Council of the University of Cologne organizes an annual neuroscience symposium. We would like to give students interested in neuroscience the opportunity to exchange ideas with alumni and other scientists from this field and thus inform them about possible career paths!
To this end, we are inviting various scientists to give talks about their career paths after graduation and their current work. In addition, we give the students of the B.Sc. program "Neuroscience" the opportunity to present their own research projects and working groups in which they were active during their internship in the form of a poster session .
All time slots are designed in such a way that there is still room for discussion and questions after the lectures or poster presentations. The questions do not necessarily have to relate to the lecture, but can also address individual careers or similar.
The event will be held in English.
When & Where?
The next symposium will take place on April 25, 2026 from 10 a.m and takes place in the lecture hall 2 of the anatomy building (Joseph-Stelzmann-Str. 60, 50931 Köln).
